Magazine Buffer
The purpose of the magazine buffer is to ensure a continuous and uninterrupted supply of components to the assembly machine, even if there are temporary disruptions in the component feeding process. It allows the assembly line to operate efficiently by preventing downtime caused by interruptions in component supply.

- Input Section: PCBs enter the buffer system from one end. These PCBs may come from previous stages of assembly AOI, Screen Printer, Pick and Place or Glue Dispenser.
- Storage Area: The buffer contains a storage area where PCBs are temporarily held before they are moved to the next stage of assembly. This storage area can vary in size and design depending on the specific requirements of the assembly line.
- Control System: A control system regulates the movement of PCBs within the buffer, ensuring that there is always a sufficient supply of PCBs available for the next stage of assembly. This control system may include sensors to monitor the level of PCBs in the buffer and adjust the flow accordingly.
- Output Section: Once a PCB is required for the next stage of assembly, it is retrieved from the buffer and transferred to the appropriate location on the assembly line.
Magazine buffers come in various configurations depending on the specific requirements of the assembly line. They may feature multiple input and output lanes to accommodate different types of components and ensure proper organization and flow of materials. Additionally, magazine buffers may incorporate sensors and control systems to monitor component levels and automatically adjust feeding rates to maintain optimal operation.
Automate your assembly line. Our Magazine Buffers give you extra time to perform other routine tasks. Built with solid stable construction and off the shelf components make this system reliable and affordable.
